Ingredients
- 1½ lbs salmon fillet (cut into 6 equal pieces)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard (Dijon wholegrain works beautifully)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
- Preheat your oven to 220°C / 425°F.
- Arrange the salmon fillets in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, mustard, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the salmon and season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
