Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon Recipe

Looking for a simple yet flavour-packed salmon dish that works just as well for a quick midweek meal as it does for a special dinner? This maple mustard-glazed salmon is the perfect choice. Sweet, savoury, and ready in under 30 minutes, it’s a recipe you’ll come back to time and time again.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs salmon fillet (cut into 6 equal pieces)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp grainy mustard (Dijon wholegrain works beautifully)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C / 425°F.
  2. Arrange the salmon fillets in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, mustard, and soy sauce until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the salmon and season with freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serve with roasted seasonal vegetables, steamed greens, or a fresh salad for a perfectly balanced meal.
